The University of Hyderabad BE/BTech admission procedure is carried out through JEE Main. Shortlisted candidates for JEE Main are required to apply through the official University portal and follow the counselling procedure. Allocation is made on rank, preference, and availability basis. Actual admission is only finalized upon document verification and fee deposition at the University.

The University of Hyderabad asks the students to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. In addition, students must score a valid JEE Main and apply for BE/BTech admission. The eligibility is being fixed, so the students have sound knowledge in the Science stream. They must also refer to the official notice for category-wise relaxation and cut-off information.

The Hyderabad University entrance exam is moderately tough as it requires examination of both subject matter and analytical skills. The level of competition varies on the basis of the number of applicants versus the seats available in a programme. ICBM SBE assures the placement for each and every PGDM student, subject to 85% attendance. Now, giving 100% placements is hard to prove for certain reasons. Sometimes a student does not attend an adequate number of classes, which affects their placement drive.
