GATE is not required for all M.Tech admissions at IIIT Hyderabad. Admission to most M.Tech programs at IIIT Hyderabad is based on the institute's own entrance exam, Postgraduate Entrance Examination .This exam focuses on assessing knowledge and skills relevant to the chosen M.Tech specialization.
However, for the M.Tech in PGEE program, a valid score in GATE/CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design) is also accepted for admission alongwith PGEE, or you can appear for the PGEE itself.

The University has released the combined placement data for BSc and BTech courses. Out of 972 BSc/ BTech graduates, 174 were successfully placed. Further, the median package for the 2023 drive stood at INR 450 LPA, which was the highest in the past three years. The following table depicts the ANGRAU placement trends for UG courses:

The ANGRAU the highest package has not been released officially. However, the 2023 median package for UG and PG courses is out. The highest median package for 2023 stood at INR 6.09 LPA. Check the table below to know the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University placement package for 2023:

Anyone above the 75th percentile has a good chance of getting into IBS Hyderabad. However, you technically need a percentile of at least 87 to get into IBS Hyderabad.Candidates who satisfy the 85 percentile CAT cutoff and the 150 percentile NMAT score are qualified for an MBA at IBS Hyderabad, based on past year trends. With 83 percentile, it will be quite tough for you to get IBS Hyderabad. into "IBS" Hyderabad is not tough at all. Selection Process
The selection for the programme is made based on merit. Eligible applicants are required to apply for the programme using the Application Form (given on page 3).
