Yes, there are books but they arena't really required but if someone still wants to refer to one, there's one by arihant specifically for IPM.

Yes, you have a very good chances of getting a seat in IMS. Appear in the DTE counselling for admission.

It is not fixed every cut off marks changes every year, but you have to score the best marks for getting good ranks. Try to score over 140 150.

Yes, you can apply for it, it is notification comes out around May-mid or end, and the exam is conducted in June mid or start.

IMS only accept CMAT and DAVV-CET score. The CMAT cutoff will depend on AICTE guideline and DAVV-CET cutoff will depend on DAVV admission guidelines.

NO, there is no other exam conducted except JEE Mains for admission but you can try out for college level counselling (CLC) in which students get admission on their 10th and 12th percentage.
