In Itanagar, the following institutions offer lateral entry in Civil Engineering for Diploma holders: North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Himalayan University, and Arunodaya University. NERIST offers lateral entry by NEE-II exam with direct admission to second year. Candidates looking for NERIST admissions can visit the official website and search out the complete fees structure for all the courses at the university. Generally, NERIST provides quality courses at a significantly lower cost as compared to the prominent privately-owned universities. For example, the BTech course would cost a general student about INR 21,990 (INR 15,250 for Vertical Mobility) for the first semester.

You can get admission into B. Sc (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) at Himalayan University even if you have a score of more than 50% in 12th standard from any recognised board and have 50 percentile score in CUET Entrance Exam.
