Pratap University, Jaipur and JNIT Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad offers 4- year B.Tech courses with almost similar fee structure. Both the college offer excellent academic facilities, however, the only difference lies in the choice of courses offered. While Pratap University offers B.Tech in 5 specializations; Computer Science and Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering, JNIT offers B.Tech in a number of specializations including Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and thirteen others. Established in the year 2011, Pratap University, Jaipur is a part of the group of the establishments started by Shri Ram Singh Bhaduria in 1995. After being inspired from Maharana Pratap and opening various K12 schools, Engineering, Management, Information Technology, Pharmacy and Dental colleges, Shri Ram established Pratap University to offer quality education to students in diverse streams of study such as Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Pharmacy, Education, Basic Science and Humanities, Library Science, Mass Communication and Journalism, etc. with more than 200 faculty currently on roll. The college also offers excellent learning and residential facilities to its students.

Pratap University, Jaipur offers a wide choice of courses among the different field of study such as Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Pharmacy, Education, Basic Science and Humanities, Library Science and Mass Communication and Journalism. The courses are undergraduate, post graduate, Diploma as well as Ph.D courses. There are different eligibility criteria for admissions to different courses and the entrance exam score accepted for undergraduate courses is class 12^th or equivalent, graduation or equivalent for post graduate courses, post- graduation/ Masters for Ph.D. and class 12^th or equivalent for Diploma courses. There are no other specific examinations mentioned for admissions.

People's opinion of Pratap University is quite good according to them the faculty of the University is highly qualified and has good behaviour towards the students and the staff of the university is also supportive.
