The National Board of Open Schooling (NIOS) is recognised by the central government. This is why the NIOS board mark sheet is accepted by many top Indian as well as foreign colleges for admission. The 12th grade marksheet of the NIOS board is considered equivalent to the CBSE board for undergraduate courses abroad. You can apply to countries like Australia, the USA, and Canada with your NIOS marksheet. However, you also have to fulfill other requirements, like TOEFL or IELTS scores. You may also be required to take the college's entrance exam in order to be admitted.

Yes, almost every college recognizes the NIOS Certificate for admission. The NIOS student can go to regular college after completing senior secondary (12th grade). The ministry of education as well as the UGC recognize the NIOS board. Some colleges might not accept the NIOS mark sheet due to its syllabus, but many colleges like IIT accept NIOS marks for admission to undergraduate courses. You need to fulfill other criteria, like 55 percent in senior secondary school, to be eligible for the college you are applying to.

According to the eligibility criteria at LNMIIT Jaipur, you are not eligible for admission to this college. You have only 52% in your 12th grade, where, as per eligibility criteria, you need to have an aggregate of 60% in your 12th grade. This requirement is mandatory, irrespective of your JEE Mains percentile. Your JEE Mains percentile is very good and will get you into some good colleges that only require 50% or less in the 12th grade. For LNMIIT Jaipur, the only option is to apply for the 12th grade through NIOS to get the desired percentile and then appear for JEE again with that score. Therefore, you can apply to some other engine
