No, It is a private college and there are no seat reservations for any category. It is open for all the students. You just need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for the course you apply.

It is an average college for BBA. The learning opportunities and faculty members are good but there is a lack of practical knowledge. The average placement is also 2.5 lac and it is comparatively little low according to other colleges.

Talking about the International Collaboration or MoUs, manipal is having strong connections with the other outside universities some are in Malaysia, Russia, Nepal, UAE, France etc. Mostly all over the world. Talking about the population, it is all over around 10,000+ in Manipal University. From North to South, East to West. Students come all over from Himachal, Jammu, Kerela, Madhya Pradesh and etc. From every state even NRIs are also there in the college. It's having a big impact on the students.

Well, if talking about B.A. LL.B. Specifically there is nothing exceptional for this. You can get direct admission based on your 12th percentage or you can give the MET I. e Manipal Entrance Exam to take any course of which you want. There is no criteria of compulsory of giving exams to enroll.
