LPU has a much larger campus, more CSE specializations (AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc.), a bigger recruiter pool, and stronger national-level exposure. Many national and multinational IT companies visit LPU, and the coding culture, hackathons, and internship opportunities are broader in scale. Competition is higher, but opportunities are also more.

No, 7K rank is not a good rank for NIFT Jodhpur admissions if you belong to the General AI category. This category had the cutoff ranging between 242 and 2636

However, if you belong to the SC or ST All India quota, a rank of 7000 could get you admission to a few courses. For the SC AI category, admissions closed at a rank of 8791, and for the ST AI quota, admissions were capped at 8801. Students can refer to the table below to know which courses are available based on the last round cutoff rank.

No, it not's easy to get admission in IIT Jodhpur. Students have to meet the basic eligibility and get good scores in accepted tests. The competition is high. With IIT Jodhpur being one of the top Engineering institutes of the country, the cutoff is high too. But, with right planning, students can get a seat at the institute.

Yes, an average student may get admission in IIT Jodhpur. This is because admissions depend more on consistent planning and practice. Students have to prepare for the accepted tests and aim to clear the high cutoff. Admissions are offered on an entrance basis.
