Kaziranga University eligibility may change depending on the course and even specialisation. But, the common eligibility for the university is as below:

  • Kaziranga University UG eligibility - Complete Class 12 from a recognised board
  • Kaziranga University PG eligibility - UG degree from a recognised university

To get admission in Kaziranga University, students have to check the eligibility first. Eligible students can then apply online. Students are shortlisted either on merit or entrance basis. This depends on the programme. Selected students have to pay the admission fees to complete the admission.

Students seeking to pursue the PhD admission at Kaziranga University must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

  • A Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or is equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 10-point scale OR a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent.
  • Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. programme with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or it's equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

Note: A relaxation of 5% marks or it's equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently abled, Economically Weaker Sectio
