IEM Kolkata, through 17 departments, offers postgardaute, undergraduate, and other courses to students. The accepted entrance exams are WBJEE,  JEE Main, CAT, and others. Candidates willing to get IEM Kolkata admission must take part in the IEM College Kolkata admission process by applying online. BIBS is affiliated with Vidyasagar University, a state government university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by AICTE.

While BIBS itself doesn't hold AICTE approval, the MBA programme offered in collaboration with Vidyasagar University does benefit from AICTE approval as Vidyasagar University is approved by AICTE.

This means that BIBS's MBA programme meets the standards set by AICTE for technical education, even though it's not directly approved by the council. 

It is likely that you can still get admission in the 2025-2026 batch for LLB at Sarsuna Law College, even with a supplementary in the 5th semester. Passing the 5th semester is typically a requirement for the LLB admission process. The college's primary admission is through merit based process but still even with supplementary in 5th semester it's possible for a provisional admission (i.e.) candidate has fulfilled the basic eligibility criteria but hasn't fully completed the requirements, like passing all semesters within the deadline.
