The latest cutoff could be 400 + score. It is better to aim for 450 because of the high competition. The cutoff increases on yearly basis. For example last year that is in 2023 the cutoff was 350 + score. It is better to keep higher margin.

No, students cannot join the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University directly without any entrance exam. Reliable sources confirm the requirement for an entrance exam. The Faculty of Law at Calcutta University doesn't mention any direct admission process on their website.

West Bengal Law Entrance Exam: The admission process for the Faculty of Law at Calcutta University likely involves  WB-LEE. This exam is conducted by the West Bengal University of Juridical Sciences (WB UJS) for admission to LLB programs in various universities across West Bengal, including Calcutta University.

Suppose a student has already taken admission to a medical college either through the All India NEET Counselling or through any other state counselling for NEET. In that case, they will not be allowed to participate in the Tripura NEET counselling. In fact, the candidate will not be eligible to participate in the further rounds of that particular state or national level counselling as well. This is done to ensure that a single candidate does not occupy multiple seats and all aspirants get a fair chance of admission.
