IIIT Bhopal offers various UG and PG level programmes with the fee structure consisting of tuition fees, hostel fees and various other miscellaneous fees. IIIT Bhopal BTech fee structure comprises of a tuition fees of INR 8.64 Lakh for the duration of 4 year. IIIT Bhopal offers UG and PG programmes through 3 departments. The Institute is known to have BTech with specialisations such as CSE, ECE, IT, CSE (Artificial Intelligence), CSE (Cyber Physical System) and CSE (Cyber Security).

IIIT Bhopal conducts admission as per the eligiblity criteria based on merit and entrance. Candidate must secure a minimum of  75% in Class 12 with PCM and qualify JEE Main along with the JoSAA counselling. Courses such as MCA require a minimum aggregate of 60% in BSc/ BSc (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT conducted by a recognised University. Candidates must qualify NIMCET to seek admission in MCA. A candidate require to fulfill the given eligiblity criteria to seek admission at IIIT Bhopal.

IIIT Bhopal BTech students received the highest package of INR 34.4 LPA in placement 2024. However, the placement rate was 60% with the average package of INR 12.33 LPA. The students that participated in placement were around 135, while 81 among that received a placement. For BTech ECE and IT, the average package in 2024 was INR 10.53 LPA and for BTech in CSE, the average package was INR 14.7 LPA.

IIIT Bhopal has a sanction of around 600+ seats spread across all the specialisations offered. Courses such as BTech offer around 450+ seats spread across 7 specialisations, whereas, MCA offers 60 seats for admission every year. IIIT Bhopal offers an MTech in regular or full-time mode with the seat capacity of 60 across 3 specialisations, while for a professional or part-time MTech programme, the Institute offers 3 specialisations.
