JLU Bhopal and Oriental College of Management are both well-regarded institutions, but they specialize in different areas and have different strengths. JLU Bhopal offers a graduation integrated programme and is accredited by AICTE, while Oriental College of Management offers a two-year management program. It depends on individual preferences and career goals for which institution would be a better fit. However, the placement rate for both institutions is generally modest.

Reputable companies are invited to participate in placement drives and internship fairs by the institution, which maintains a specialized placement cell. As a result, placement is an opportunity for both B.Sc. and M.Sc. students. At DHSGSU, M.Sc. students typically have better placements. They also have greater industry demand, specialized responsibilities, and higher average salaries.

According to recent reports, 121 took part in the placement drive and 9 of them have been selected as of now. The placements are still going on.
