The CMAT cut off marks at IMS Indore may vary every year depending on several factors including the number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam and availability of seats. Although the specific cut-off marks for the OBC category have not been publicly detailed, the general trend shows that a CMAT percentile of around 80 or above is usually required for admission. Usually there is no significant difference between the cut offs for OBC and general categories at IMS Indore.

There is an less chance to get the government college because your rank is more and the cut off of government college is lesser than you rank.But there is an 50 percent of chance to get a seat in government college.But in government colleges there is no management facilities to join directly.civil engineering is ever green course which most of the students do.but my suggestion course is CSE in government college.Although the civil branch is also very good in government college we can get government jobs.

The Laxmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal as well as Acropolis Institute, Indore is one of the Best Engineering College for Computer Science and Engineering branch in Tier 2 College Lists.
As you mentioned your Percentile is 83.2 in JEE Mains, so I am assuming your rank approximately to be 2 to 2.5 Lacs and as of the latest cutoff of year 2023, the closing rank is touching your score.
