JUET conducts an entrance exam for M.Tech admission. JUET Guna PGET is the abbreviated form of the Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology Post Graduate Entrance Test. It is conducted to admit Non-GATE qualified candidates to M.Tech programmes offered by the university. Besides, GATE-qualified candidates must not appear in JUET Guna PGET. The seats that are left vacant after the admission of GATE-qualified candidates are offered to the Non-GATE qualified candidates through PGET.

Yes, candidates with a valid GATE or any other national-level entrance exam score can get direct admission to M.Tech programme. The university also accepts CUET-PG score for MTech. Aspirants appearing in the final year examination of the qualifying degree may also apply. They will be required to submit mark sheet of the qualifying degree on or before the date of registration.

The university offers BTech in Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc. Additionally, the university also offers lateral entry to BTech courses.
