NIT Patna: The institute has been ranked 56th among the top Engineering colleges in India by NIRF 2023. NIT Patna offers Undergraduate (BTech, BArch), Postgraduate (MTech, MSc), and PhD programmes through its experienced faculty well versed in their respective fields of engineering and technology with well-equipped laboratories. IPMAT and IPM Aptitude Test (IIM Rohtak) have similar syllabus but the difficulty level is different. Both exams have Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability sections. However, IIM Rohtak's IPMAT exam has an additional section- Logical Reasoning. The benefit of IPMAT by IIM Indore is that the exam is accepted by multiple top management insitutes in country, whereas the one conducted by IIM Rohtak is only accepted by IIM Rohtak. 

Yes, it is compulsory for all bonafide students of the institute to stay in the residential facility of IIITM Gwalior. There are 4 boys’ hostels and 1 girls’ hostel on the campus. Each hostel has students of all ages. The hostels have many facilities, including a mess. The mess is run by student representatives through the “Student Welfare Society”. A common gym facility is provided in the sports complex. Indoor sports facilities like table tennis, carom, chess, badminton, etc. are present. TV rooms with newspapers, magazines, and reading/study room facilities, 24x7 security guards and hostel supervisors in the hostels, supply of hot and cold water throughout the year, 24x7 supply of RO water with a water cooler on each floor of the hostels, and 24x7 internet connection, among others, are available to the students. Each student is provided with a single bed, a full-sized covered almirah, a ceiling fan, a study table, and a chair. Hostels are CCTV-connected to provide IT-based surveillance systems. Fire extinguishers, a biometric attendance system, a photostat, stationery, and other essential amenities like Milk milk parlour, cafeteria, juice parlour, etc. are available adjacent to hostel areas.

IIITM Gwalior accepts students for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and doctorate programmes. To apply for admission, candidates must complete an online application on the institute's official website. Students seeking BTech CS admission to IIITM Gwalior must first take the JEE Main exam, followed by JoSAA counselling. In order to apply for the IIIT Gwalior BTech course, students are required to apply via JEE Main. The process of applying for JEE Main 2023 consists of three steps, i.e., registration, form filling, and document uploading, followed by payment of application fees.

The attempts at IPMAT Indore depend on the age criteria of the candidate. The eligibility criteria in terms of age for this entrance is that the candidate should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2026, (for IPMAT Indore 2026) if you belong to the General, OBC or EWS category. Whereas there is 5-year relaxation for SC, ST and PWD candidates.

The IPMAT exam is conducted only once a year, and the candidates must aim to crack the exam on the first attempt. However, if they did not score well in the first attempt and their eligibility is still valid for the next year, then the students can definitely give a second try at the exam.

As per the latest placement data available, the highest package and average package offered during BTech placements 2023 stood at INR 44 LPA and INR 10.58 LPA, respectively. A total of 150 companies participated, and an 85.4% placement rate was recorded during NIT Goa placements 2023.
