Due to all these factors closing ranks of many courses of studies are quite low. Starting from 12000 in some courses to 25000 in some others. However, theoretically speaking the last student who got admission had a ranking of about 38000 last year. If we consider a similar trend this year then you will get admission to this Institute. How far it is always better to be on the safer side and I would request you to aim for a ranking of about 15000 in JEE Mains for almost surety of admission in one of the main branches.
