MGMBIT placements are competitive among biosciences and yet a little lower compared to CSMU. Generally, 60-70% placements are abided by MGMIBT with average packages of INR 3-4 Lacs per annum from industries like Biocon or Serum Institute, whereas CSMU covers the placement from 70-80% based on their wide programs and an average of INR 4-5 Lacs.
Both universities are good places, on a regional basis, but CSMU is slightly better with regard to volume and salary as of early 2025, according to usual trends.

Pillai College of Architecture offers 165 seats for its programmes. B.Arch programme offers the most amount of seats in the university with 80 seats for the programme. BSc in Interior Design offers 60 seats, while 20 seats are offered by the M.Arch programme. For the PhD programme there is a provision of maximum five seats. Therefore, candidates applying for admission in the UG programmes will have a better chance of securing a seat in the institute as the UG programmes offer close to 140 seats in the institute.
