Yes. There is a slight chance of getting a seat in Chennai campus but you have to pay high fees (approximately 5 Lacs per annum).

Congratulations!
All the IITs are better any day than IIIT-H on all parameters. Don't make the mistake of chucking IIT for IIIT-H. Just go through the curriculum and academic regulations of IITs and IIIT H on their respective websites and decide for yourself.

Hi Arjun, I think NITs are good for you to takes in these percentiles because you know NITs prioritizes after IITs. But while coming to low level NITs I think IITDelhi is also a better option to opt.
Thanks :). .
All the best !!

You should go for SRM as the curriculum and the faculty there is good. ECE at VITEE is also a good option depends totally on your interest. However, you should remember that upgrading your branch is a tough thing. So, I would recommend SRM.

Hello Karthick,
It is very nice to know that you are good in Physics. From this perspective, both these branches are good for you. However if one looks from the opportunities for placement then Aeronautics is big trouble. Placements in this branch or very few with the result, majority of students going for MBA or MS abroad. Compared to this the prospects of ECE are quite good. There are lots of opportunities for placements. In view of this I would definitely recommend ECE branch for you. Best wishes.
