The cutoff of St Edmunds College Shillong admission 2025 depends upon the sanctioned intake capacity of the candidate's preferred major subject/course. Currently there are:
- 50 seats for each BSc Course (except for Mathematics which has 60)
- 60 seats for each BA Course (except for Khasi and Political Science which have 50 and 65 respectively)
- 60 seats for BCA
- 80 seats for BSW
- 30 seats for MSW
- 200 seats for BCom

Candidates who meet the cutoff for St Edmunds College Meghalaya will receive a notification by email. The SEC cutoff is based on ones marks scored on CUET (UG) or CUET (PG) for UG and PG level courses respectively. In the absence of CUET marks, candidates are ranked based on the college entrance test and their Class 12 or Degree examination marks for UG and PG level courses respectively.

Step 1: Login to the official college website (sec.edu.in).
Step 2: Click on Admission.
Step 3: Login/Register.
Step 4: Fill in any necessary details.
Step 5: Upload CUET (UG/PG) Results.
Step 6: Choose preferred major subjects.
Step 7: Pay application fees.
Candidates who have not appeared for the CUET exam may still register on the official college website and give the College Entrance test for any remaining seats in their preferred course.

A candidate can apply for multiple courses through one application form during St Edmunds College Shillong course admissions. On the online admissions portal of St Edmunds College, candidates are offered up to four choices when picking the candidates preferences for major subjects. Candidates who receive admissions in St Edmunds are also given a choice of minor subject from a list.

Yes, scholarships are available for both meritorious and needy students at St Edmunds College Meghalaya. These scholarships/prizes have been setup by the College and various Government bodies to encourage students. Scholarships available at St Edmunds College include Free Studentship, State Merit Scholarship, Coal India Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship, North Eastern Council Stipend and Book Grant, etc.

The application dates for St Edmunds College Meghalaya admission can vary depending on the course. For the academic year of 2025, UG course admissions began on March 10, 2025 and the last date to apply is August 23, 2025. Candidates must submit their Class 10 & 12 and CUET marksheets before this date and apply on the college admissions portal.

Yes, St Edmunds College Shillong, currently does offer one form of direct admission in its programmes. Candidates of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, other Catholic Religious Congregations, and Seminarians will be given direct admission into St Edmunds College if they also fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Other candidates must either appear for the CUET (UG/PG) or the College Entrance test, with students who appear for CUET being given first preference.

St Edmunds College Shillong, offers a variety of courses with 20 UG-level courses. These courses are divided over 5 streams of Science, Arts, Commerce, Social Work and Computer Applications.
