As on Dec 19, 2025, a total of 1107 students registered and 346 studnets were placed during VNIT placements 2026. Earlier, during the BTech and M.Tech placement drive 2025, the placement rate was 85.16% and 67.62%.

Students have to register for the entrance test of their course. This is compulsory to apply for any programme given by VNIT Nagpur. It is also important to register on the official website of college. After giving the entrance test, students also have to take part in the counselling process.

VNIT is one of the top Engineering colleges in India. The college is recognised by UGC and has received NAAC A accreditation also. Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology also gives courses like MTech, MSc etc. other than BTech.

No, it is mandatory to give the JEE Mains entrance test to get admission in BTech programme of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur Maharashtra. Students must score high in the entrance test to get into the college. The admission to all the courses at VNIT Nagpur are through entrance tests.

Yes, VNIT Nagpur gives good placement opportunities to the students. Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology also gives internship offers to the students. The college has a placement and training cell. Google, Deloitte, EY etc. are some of the top recruiters.

The application process of VNIT Nagpur admissions is online. Students have to register online at the college and for the entrance test they want to appear for. After giving the entrance exam, students also have to take part in the online counselling process for the college allotment.
