No, the admission to all master's courses is not merit based. There are various entrance exam accepted for master's admission. For MBA, entrance exam like CAT, MAT, XAT, TENCET, etc. is accepted. Apart from entrance exam, interview and group discussions also holds an important part in candidate selection.
