No, NxtWave Institute Of Advanced Technologies, Chennai admissions are not merit-based. Students have to appear for the NAT test. The institute further has career counselling to shortlist students.

Yes, KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education offers scholarships to BCom (Hons) students based upon Class 12 scores. They are given as fee-concessions on first-year fee. They are available for first year only. The details are mentioned in the following table:

TOMS College of Engineering and Polytechnic admissions are both merit and entrance-based. For BTech government quota admissions, students have to appear for the KEAM entrance exam + counselling. In all other cases, including management and lateral entry, students are selected through merit basis. The college may conduct further selection rounds.
