These include subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Apart from this, applicants also require a valid score in JEE Main entrance exams or Xavier Engineering Selection Test, XEST. The selection is based on the entrance exam score, performance in personal interviews, and Class 10 academic records as well as Class 12 academic records. All these need to be fulfilled to obtain a seat under the BTech programme.

No you can't! You have to appear for an JEE Main entrance examination and hence must submit a valid score. The criteria include Class 12 with an aggregate of at least 60% with the science stream.

The selection process also includes WAT, group discussions, personal interviews, and academic performance, so the entrance exam is a key part of getting in. Direct admissions without an entrance exam aren’t an option.
