In first year, most students don't study properly and I also made a same mistake. In first year, students should focus on studies if they want to change their branches. And also don't forget to enjoy college life, make friends and explore Goa. Most importantly avoid any kind of addictions like drinking etc.

The mess food is not that great but its good and if compare it with a home cooked food you will be highly disappointed. The majority of the dishes offered have a South Indian flavor. They offer all different kinds of veggies on different days, and the cuisine has a respectable flavor. On certain days, non-vegetarian food is also offered. Since it is mess food, it won't compare to what is offered in restaurants, but it is still good.
