The placements at NIT Puducherry have been excellent over the years. As per the latest placement brochure 2025, the highest package offered to the M.Tech ECE branch was INR 23 LPA. Panjab University offers BHMS seats through PU-CET (BHMS), a separate entrance exam. However, NEET is compulsory nationwide for BHMS admission, per regulatory bodies and court rulings. Even if PU-CET is conducted, you must qualify NEET to be eligible under current norms.

A score off 174 in CUET can give you a chance at Pondicherry university but it depends on your category, the course you are applying for and that year cutoff trends. Check previous year cutoff to get a clear idea of your chances.

Karaikal campus offers BBA (Honours) and B.Com (Honours) under its NEP-aligned undergraduate programmes, but it does not list B.A. (Honours) Economics among its UG offerings at that location.
The Department of Economics exists at the main Pondicherry campus, offering B.A. (Honours) Economics, M.A., and Ph.D., but this programme is not available at Karaikal campus.

To be admitted in to M.A. hindi in Panjab University (PU), generally there is no mode of direct admission; one has to pass an entrance exam. To seek admission into the postgraduate programme in Hindi i.e. M.A., Panjab University has its own university level entrance examination called PU-CET (PG). To be eligible to admission, candidates will have to take this exam and score a valid score. The applicants should also have a Bachelor degree in Sanskrit as a subject with 45 per cent marks or average 50 per cent in case Sanskrit was elective/compulsory. You can get the 2nd PU 2025 Business Studies (Code 27) annual question paper from your school or coaching institute, as they often keep a record of board papers. Additionally, you can check with the Pondicherry University exam cell or look for question bank books and educational portals that upload past papers and sample sets for practice.

Getting into NIT Puducherry with a rank of 6 Lacs seems unlikely. The previous year's closing ranks were:
- General: 138,928 - 206,045
- OBC: 75,745 - 102,063
- SC: 11,782 - 39,489
- ST: 17,166 - 27,984

For admission in M.Sc Bioinformatics at Pondicherry University through CUET PG 2025, the expected minimum cutoff scores vary by category and rounds.
Expected cutoff score in CUET PG for general catagory is 83 marks in round 1 and 165 marks in round 2
For obc catagory 26 marks for round 1
and for Home state 29 marks for round 1
