The candidates who want to pursue B.E./B.Tech at Malla Reddy Engineering college (MREC) need qualification in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with minimum 50% in all subjects of the exam. Convener quota generally through TS EAMCET Management Quota: Through the minimum 50% in qualifying subjects if eligible through entrance exam rank.

Malla Reddy Engineering College fee structure for different courses is Different .The annual cost of B.Tech courses is between 56,100-1,22,500 depending on the specialisation for a year. An M.Tech course costs around 57,000 a year and MBA programme approximately 40,000 per annum. For assigning different fees to different quota and AY (QFY) may vary.

Tuition fee per year for B.E./B.Tech at Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) ranges from 56,100 to 1,22,500 per year as per specialisation per semester. There are very few such as Civil Engineering 56,100 yearly, and 1,22,500 for courses Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or other closely related fields like Cyber Security or IoT with specialization.

The hostel fee per academic year at Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) is around INR 50,000 and for female students INR 55,000. This normally comprise accommodation and some other basic amenities. However students also report having fee as annualy above INR 1,20,000 depending on room sharing and additional services. Wi-Fi is provided along with study tables, wardrobe facilities, hot water availability, power backup, laundry services in the accommodation.

For students to get into Malla Reddy Engineering College, they must have secured atleast 50% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and then qualify for TS EAMCET or go through Management quota. For engineering post-graduate courses like M.Tech or MBA, candidate should have a bachelor's degree with 50% marks and appears for appropriate entrance exam TS PGECET for M.Tech and TS ICET for MBA through PG. Or you can also get into PG through a route known by the name of Management quota

M.E./B.E. For Malla Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad students must have passed 12 from any board with minimum aggregate of 45% At the stage of first round of admission it is primarily based on entrance exams like TS EAMCET or JEE (Main ) and later called for counselling. Also, 70% are filled via TS EAMCET and the remaining 30 of the seats come through direct admissions based on counselling category.
