Around 55.7% of students were placed in the salary range of INR 5 LPA to 10 LPA. 9.8% secured packages above INR 20 LPA, with over 700 total offers made. Candidates need to be graduated with minimum 60% aggregate with BE/BTech from a recognised University to apply for MTech at NIT Silchar. The university from which the candidate obtained their UG degree must be recognised by the government or an appropriate regulatory body.
