Yes PCB student can take admission in information technology course. You can do BSC Computer Science, Bsc information technology, Bachelor of Computer application that is BCA.
If your from India then NTA is conducting a common entrance exam CUET in which you can take admission in universities from all over India in UG Or PG courses of BSC IT, BSC CS, and BCA

About Siliguri Institute of Technology faculty, faculty is well experienced and exciting to future of students.
Faculty is very supportive to students and helpful nature.
All faculty is M.Tech qualified and some of Professors done PhD in respective subjects.
Faculty way of teaching is in detail and with Practical knowledge and each experiment is performed by students with the help of lab assistants.

Siliguri Institute of Technology dose not provide 100% scholarship to students.
But SIT (Siliguri Institute of Technology) provide partial fee concession or some percentage relaxation in tuition fee.
Whose students are score best or good rank in WBJEE or JEE like exams.
Then college provide relaxation in tuition fee.
Or those students has very poor economical background and good in academics, then college provide relaxation in tuition fee.

Yes, you can get admission to Siliguri Institute of Technology B.E. / B.Tech without the WBJEE exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12th in a relevant stream. Eligible candidates will also have to appear for the JEE Main exam (if not appearing for the WBJEE exam) and score valid marks to secure admission to the course
