The TNEA cutoff for SSM College of Engineering is varies because cutoff is on the basis of course and category. In recent years, for General Category students closing ranks are in between 57,302 to 1,72,341 depending on the course. No, SSM College of Engineering does not offer a 100% scholarship for all students, but it provides scholarships on the basis of financial need, merit or college performance. Some scholarships may available for SC/ST, OBC or EWS through government schemes. Students with attractive 12th grade score or in entras exams might qualify for fee concession. Yes, placement and training cell is available in SSM College of Engineering. Various activities like soft skills, aptitude training, campus recruitment drives and technical workshops are organised by cell to prepare students for placements. Cell also invited major companies for internships and recruitments for students. Career guidance and helping students for getting jobs are also provide by cell. Yes, through the management quata you can get admission in SSM College of Engineering for B.E./B.Tech without TNEA. SSM College reserves seats for first year students on 12th grade marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. After TNEA if seats get unfilled then you can get spot admission. If you did Diploma in engineering then you can get admission in 2nd year directly. For more information regarding admission you can contact college office directly.

It is said that the faculty of TCET is efficient. There are experienced professors and young teaching staff onboard. The teachers are cooperative and are involved in student affairs. They guide through several academic as well as co-curricular activities.
