Malla Reddy Engineering College Hostel mess food quality is very poor and the hostel mess has been a point of discussion among students. While many others have had good experiences, a few have expressed their dismay with hygiene and the quality of food. There have been cases where students have discovered worms in the food  Sadly, these clarion calls have fallen on deaf ears before such incidents. So, the college administration should take the call and ensure there is proper food safety and hygiene at the college

Scholarships are available at Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology, but there is no proof that a 100% scholarship will pay all costs. The institute offers female students (up to two per family) with parental incomes under INR 8 million INR 50,000 per year through the Pragati Scholarship Scheme by AICTE. Additionally, 50–70% of students who qualify for the Telangana EAMCET are given scholarships worth INR 15,000–35,000 by the Telangana government. Children of alumni are exempt from 25% of tuition fees. Although they lower expenses, these scholarships do not completely cover them.

The cuisine at Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad hostel mess is usually regarded as hygienic but of mediocre flavour. The mess which is exclusively for girls offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options and is covered by the about INR 60,000 annual dorm fee. According to reviews, some students find the food to be OK but not great, and while it is safe and clean, it lacks taste and diversity. There are no extra fees for meals and the mess complies with hygienic regulations.
