To secure a seat in the PGDM programme at VJIM Hyderabad, students must apply through the official website of the college, fill out the application form accurately, and pay the application fee. Selection is based on MAT/ CAT/ XAT and other accepted entrance exam performance. Moreover, before appearing in the entrance exam, candidates must ensure that they complete their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear at the college for the PI communication round and document verification to confirm admission.

The total seat intake for the PGDM course at VJIM is 330. The number of seats is divided among the institute's offered PGDM courses. Moreover, candidates can get a seat in the PGDM course after completing their graduation, achieving a valid score in the entrance exam, and appearing in the PI round, and lastly, by paying the adequate amount of course fee.

In the initial trimester of the PGDM course at VJIM, candidates are introduced to the primary subjects that create a foundational base for upcoming subjects. The names of the subjects offered in the first trimester are as follows:

  • Introduction to Business & Management (IBM).
  • Managerial Economics (ME).
  • Business Statistics & Analytics for Decision Making  (BSADM), etc.

Yes, VJIM Hyderabad does follow a trimester-based system for admission to the PGDM course. Moreover, an academic year is organised into two semesters of six months each, and students usually take a specified number of courses in a semester. The programme spans four semesters. Additionally, this full-time, two-year programme is offered at the PG level.

VJIM PGDM application fee is INR 1,200 + taxes will be required before it will be processed. Students have to pay the PGDM application fee online. The payment is accepted online via net banking / credit card / debit card.

No, there is no direct admission to PGDM course at VJIM. Admission is based on the score of entrance exam. Candidates with a valid score can apply online. Applicants need to appear for PI and communication round. Students are selected based on cumulative performance.

No, MAT scores are not compulsory for admission to MBA courses at VJIM. The institute accepts several entrance examination scores for admission to VJIM MBA courses. The names of the accepted entrance exams are CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, and GMAT. Candidates with valid scores in any of the following entrance exams can get admission to the PGDM course at VJIM. Thus, MAT is one of the accepted entrance exams for the MBA courses. However, it is not compulsory.
