NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech in Chemical Engineering. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs are based on factors such as Category, Performance, Seats Available and Competition.
Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

No, you can't join any of the NIT Trichy course directly without appearing for the selection rounds. Students are admitted strictly based on entrance exam scores at NIT Trichy. Aspiring candidates must first sit for the accepted entrance exam (JEE/ NATA/ GATE, etc.). Once the exam results are out, seat allocation will start for which students need to participate in the respective counselling process.
