MLSU admission process differs based on the course, candidate applying for. Admission to UG courses at MLSU is based on aggregate score obtained in the qualifying exam followed by the counselling. BTech and BArch admissions at MLSU are based on rank secured in the JEE Main and NATA entrance examinations, respectively. The final selection for BTech and BArch is done though REAP counselling.

Mohanlal Sukhadia University has over 60 students as its intake capacity for the BSc programme. This is a three-year course for which, to get admitted, candidates have to secure at least 45% in their Class 12 examination. MLSU offers various specialisations under BSc, such as Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, and other related fields. The university also offers a four-year integrated course in BSc-B.Ed. programme that allows students to obtain a BSc and a Bachelor of Education simultaneously.

No, only candidates who manage to secure admissions into the BSc (Hons) course at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication will be considered for the MCM scholarship. Candidates are not required to appear for JSAT to gain admissions and can appear for the exam after becoming a student of JSJC.

The MCM scholarship offered by O.P. Jindal Global University looks at the scores obtained in the last qualifying exam and JSAT to select candidates for admissions. This means that for PhD students, the scores they obtained during their post graduation will be the ones that are looked at alongside the JSAT score during selection.

The latest cutoff information for MSc at MLSU has not been released by the university yet. Though admissions depend on MAT exam scores with students able to choose from over 60 specialisations with a total seat intake of 1640. Students will find that the specific cutoff will depend on preferred course as well as competition and numbers of seats available.
