Nearly both the institutes are good. I would prefer SIMS as it has an established reputation over PIMR and good placements. But it has some weaknesses too, like it has greater fees compared to the PIMR and also it is less focused on entrepreneurship skills. While PIMR focuses on more practical learning and skill development, it is a relatively newer institute compared to SIMS.

University of the Pacific permits all students holding a student visa and awarded the FWS (Federal Work Study) are eligible to work while studying in the university. It must be noted that receiving a FWS allocation does not guarantee students a position. Students are allowed to work maximum 20 hours per week while their classes are in session.

International applications are accepted at University of the Pacific through the website's International Student Application Portal. While applying to UOP, applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- Completed online application along with USD 55 = INR 4,585* application fee;
- Official academic transcripts
- Official or certified copies of academic records for all secondary and post-secondary study (UG);
- Course-by-course foreign transcript evaluations (PG);
- English language proficiency score;
- SAT/ACT score (UG);
- GRE score (PG);
- Personal statement;
- Letters of recommendations;
- Copy of passport; and
- Certification of finances.
