While the main UWTSD campuses do not typically serve Indian food in their canteens on-campus, there's no shortage of Indian restaurants around the campuses.

Some popular Indian food places worth exploring near the Swansea Campuses are:

  • Desi Swaag - North and South Indian Street Food
  • Indian Street Kitchen - Top spot for urban Indian street food and takeway
  • Simply Dosa - Ideal for South Indian dosas and other veg dishes

Yes, students can change their course at the Aston Uni, however, it depends on the course, and the time of the year.

  • Part-way courses changes are rarely permitted during the year. For these, students usually need to wait until the start of the next academic year.
  • Transfers are not permitted into Aston Medical School or programs like Pharmacy, Optometry, and Audiology courses

Email the Aston University admission team with your UCAS or Student ID and the exact course you wish to transfer to.

Aston University expects students to maintain an attendance rate of at least 85%. Failing to meet this requirements can trigger a review and could result in the university withdrawing your sponsorship.

If you are ill or have any extenuating circumstances, you are advised to contact your Course Tutor ASAP.
