To secure a seat to pursue an MBBS at IMS BHU, aspirants are required to take the NEET UG exam, which is conducted by the NTA. The seat allocation process is based on the candidate's rank obtained in the NEET exam through various counselling rounds conducted for the All-India Quota and the Home State Quota. Therefore, aspirants must aim at cracking NEET UG with the required cut-off rank to get an MBBS seat at the institute.

Over the past three years, the cut-off ranks required for IMS BHU MBBS admission have shown an inconsistent or fluctuating trend. In 2024, the closing rank for the last round of MBBS admission was 1,098 for the General AI category candidates. The same was 1,084 in 2023 and 2,735 in 2022. The IMS BHU MBBS cut-off varies yearly. It further varies depending on the reservation category and admission quota (All-India/Home State) of the applicants. In 2024, the closing NEET UG rank at which MBBS admisson concluded for the General AI category candidates was 1,098. For OBC and SC category students, the NEET UG last round cutoff ranks were 1,585 and 48,082, respectively, within the All India quota. Candidates willing to get an MBBS seat at the institute must aim at securing a rank better than the previous-year cut-off as per their reservation category.

Yes, you can get admission in BHU through CUET but the cutoff is very high for BHU, so you have to score good marks in CUET.

The latest cutoff information for M.Sc in Horticulture at BHU for general category began at 222 in round 1 and dropped to 201 by round 2. The top universities and colleges in India visit BHU's officail website for the most up to date and accurate information. The admissions at Banaras Hindu University's M.Sc. in Horticulture program depend upon the CUET -PG scores with vaying cutoffs.

The cut-off is released in the form of the closing ranks at which the admission is granted during various rounds of counselling. The cut-off for OBC-category candidates is slightly less competitive as compared to the General-category candidates. Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU BSc admission is subject to clearing the NEET UG cut-off prescribed for the particular admission year. The cut-off also varies depending on the caste/reservation category of the applicants. Based on the previous year's cut-off, the NEET UG rank at which BSc admission was granted to General category candidates is around 1.06 Lacs (for the last round). In 2023, the closing rank for the General category candidates was 27,931.
