There are two types of seat categories in COMEDK counselling 2025- GM and KKR. The government has reserved 70% of the seats in colleges located in Kalyana Karnataka area in favour of locals and 8% of the seats are reserved for locals of the Kalyana Karnataka Region located outside the said region. The Kalyana Karnataka Region comprises of Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Bidar, Koppal, Raichur, Ballari and Vijayanagara districts.

To register for the COMEDK counselling candidates have to log in to the candidate portal at comedk.org fill in their details and pay the counselling fee.

No. The particiapting colleges for COMEDK UGET and Uni-Gauge exams are different.

There is no special eligibility for the COMEDK counselling. Candidates who have qualified the test can participate in the counselling process provided they complete the COMEDK UGET counselling registration and pay the counselling fee.

COMEDK UGET cutoff is the maximum rank at which admission to a certain college and course have been made. Those who have ranks higher than the cutoff become eligible for admission.

Yes. At 70,000 rank candidates can get admissio to mid tier colleges and some less popular courses. For admission to top colleges students must have a rank above 5000.
