The COMEDK 2026 syllabus is largely the same as the JEE Mains syllabus. Both the exam topics are out of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. However, candidates must refer to the official COMEDK UGET syllabus to prepare for the exam.

The COMEDK UGET 2026 exam date has been announced as May 9, 2026 (Saturday). The exam will be conducted on a single day in 3 shifts across India. This year, there are 181 exam centres for COMEDK UGET 2026.

It is not right to say which exam is better out of the two. Candidates should appear for either or both exams as per their goal. Appear for KCET if you seek admission to the top engineering colleges in Karnataka for the government quota seats. For admission to top colleges through the private quota, appear for COMEDK UGET.

No. The COMEDK UGET exam is not harder compared to the JEE Mains or Advanced. Those who are preparing for these exams can easily attempt the COMEDK exam because of overlapping of syllabus.

For the COMEDK UGET registration, applicants have to upload the following documents in the COMEDK application form as per the specifications mentioned in the notification:
- Photograph of candidate
- Signature of candidate
- Unique Id Proof of Candidate
- SSLC/10th Marks Card of Candidate
- Signature of Parent
- Unique Id Proof of Parent
- ST/SC/OBC certificate (Issued by Tahsildar)
- Karnataka Domicile Certificate
- KKR Certificate (Issued by Assistant Commissioner of corresponding district)

According to the Acharya Institute of Technology B.E. / B.Tech Cutoff 2025, the closing rank for B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering stood at 56571 among the students belonging to the General AI quota.
For the HS quota, the cutoff rank for the same specialisation was 83862. Comparing both the quotas, the last round cutoff rank for General AI category students was more competitive for admission than the HS quota students.
