It is a state level Entrance Exam for Engineering and Medical Admissions in State of Maharashtra. If you intend to take admission in Engineering you should select PCM subjects during form filling. If you wish to give exam for Medical you should select PCB subjects in form. You can also select PCMB subjects if you are interested in both Medical and Engineering. Exam pattern for MHTCET is as follows The test will have 2 papers Paper I (Mathematics) & Paper II (Physics & Chemistry) and all candidates have to appear in both the papers. Each paper will be for 1.30 hours. Paper I and Paper II will carry a weightage of 100 marks. Paper I will have total 50 questions, while Paper II will carry 100 questions, 50 questions each from Physics and Chemistry. There will be Paper III I.e. Biology if you have opted for that. That will of 100 marks. Botany 50 Marks and Zoology 50 Marks. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED K) conducts a state-level examination called COMEDK UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) to offer admissions to interested candidates in engineering and medical degree courses offered by colleges/institutes that are affiliated to COMEDK. COMEDK UGET 2018 exam will be conducted on May 13, 2018, across many cities in India for admissions to various UG programmes. COMEDK UGET scores are accepted by more than 150 engineering colleges, 12 medical colleges and 25 dental colleges in the state of Karnataka. COMEDK UGET 2017 was held on May 14. The duration of BE course through COMEDK UGET is four years and that of MBBS course is four and a half years. On the other hand, duration of B.Arch and BDS course is five years and four years respectively. Please note that there is no entrance test for B.Arch courses as admissions are based on NATA while admissions to MBBS courses are based on NEET.
