Specifically through the Merit Scholarship Scheme, this scholarship is designed for students with outstanding academic records who are pursuing the Foundation, Executive and Professional Level of the Company Secretary Program. This scholarship is funded primarily through support from corporate partners and individual donors, including from the ICSI Student Education Fund Trust (ICSI-SEFT).

The scholarship will provide a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000 for three years. This is based on students passing their respective tests at the first available opportunity. This process involves several steps: Scholarships are awarded monthly based on the student's progress in the course (Fundamental, Executive and Professional). If the student does not pass the test the first time The scholarship will be revoked, however, it can be reinstated after exam completion.

Students can avail this scholarship by fulfilling the eligibility criteria. This includes the percentage required in the pre-school exam and the performance in the foundation exam.
