No, You can not get direct admission to Coochbehar Government Engineering College B.E. / B.Tech course . You have to compulsorly attend WBJEE or JEE MAINS Exam and participate in WBJEE counselling to get into this college. There is no concept of management quota seat. You have to work hard to pass WBJEE Exam.

Here is the fees range for courses offered by the Coochbehar Government Engineering College :
1) For Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), it is INR 54400 for 4 years for CSE/ECE and INR 29900 for ME/CE and EE.
2) Hostel Fees is around INR 8500 per semster and Mess fess is around INR 10000 per semster.
3) Extra charges like institute development fees, etc. can be there.

Here is the detailed way to get into Coochbehar Government Engineering College for UG/PG courses:
1) You should have minimum 45% (40% marks for reserved categories) marks in 12th with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects. You can have chemistry/CS/IT as third Subject.
2) You should have a valid score in WBJEE Exam or JEE Mains Exam.
3) Participate in WBJEE Counselling process.
4) After documents verification, you will get in this college.

Coochbehar Government Engineering College is loacated in Coochbehar in West Bengal. It is a state government Engineering College funded by West Bengal State Government. Faculty at Coochbehar Government Engineering College are decent in academics. Some are really good in various departments like CSE, ECE etc. while some are just decent. They will come, teach you and go. But you will find many faculty members who are the master of their field. Most of them hold doctrate degree as their the highest qualification. You will get see many good and experienced faculty members there.

Coochbehar Government Engineering College does not provide 100% scholarship. To secure 100% tution fee waive off, you have to apply for various Government Scholarships running inside the college. You can also go for State and Private Firms Scholarships like reliance foundation etc. SC and ST students easily get 100% fee waive off easily.

Coochbehar Government Engineering College (CGEC) is loacted in Coochbehar. It is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. It is a good college approved by AICTE. Curriculam is Industry oriented and Faculties are well experienced in their domain.As far as placements are considered, the highest package was Rs. 14LPA and Average Package was Rs. 4 LPA.

Coochbehar Govt Engineering College WBJEE Cutoff 2024 was released for Round 2 across different BE/BTech specialisations. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the HS quota. The Cutoff for the General HS category ranged between 7455 and 21397. The most competitive and the least competitive course for the General HS category were BTech in CSE and BTech in Civil Engineering, respectively.
