CSEET shall be conducted through REMOTE Proctored mode instead of conducting the same from Test Centres. Candidates are allowed to appear for the CSEET using their own laptop or desktop from home/ such another convenient and isolated place. Candidates shall not be allowed to appear in CSEET by using a Mobile Phone, Tablet, Palmtop, etc. The duration of CSEET shall be 2 Hours, i.e. 120 minutes. Candidates are required to download the safe exam browser SEB Lite on their Laptop or Desktop as per the link provided to them in due course of time at the registered email ID of the candidates for the Mock and Live Test separately by using crede

Test taker can use their phone/mobile to contact the ICSI helpdesk for any issues and get help with login. Once the candidate is logged in and the test process begins the student cannot use their phones/mobiles.
During the CSEET exam, candidates should use only the chat box to contact the online invigilator. The use of mobile phones and any other electronic items during the test is strictly not allowed. If found, the candidate will be disqualified from the exam.

- Place camera in front of system.
- Face must be visible.
- There must be light in room.
- Hair, clothes, or any other object must not cover face.

In case of disruptions during the CSEET online examination viz. , No network connection, no internet connectivity, power disruptions, network disconnection due to Wi-Fi disabled, or any other such scenarios, candidates will be allowed to log in again. Candidates will be able to continue the test from the last question attempted. All the answers are saved automatically. In such cases, the remote proctor will keep a tab. Candidates must make sure to log in immediately after getting logout. Additionally, candidates will be given extra 15 minutes to compensate for the time loss if there are any disruptions with the permission of the live p

Live proctors will watch the CSEET exam online. The process will be coducted as:
- Proctors will be able to chat with the exam taker in an active chat session.
- Proctors can also communicate with the test takers through a microphone or camera.
- During the exam, the activities of the candidate and screen will be captured frequently.
- Each session is finished either by the test taker, automatically after the end of the allotted time, or by the proctor. All audio, video, text messages and recorded events are saved in the system and are attached to the session protocol.

No, there is no sectional time limit in CSEET exam. The CSEET exam is conducted for a duration of two hours. Candidates must solve the 140 MCQs within given time. Candidates can attempt any section first.

As CSEET exam will be now conducted in offline mode, there is no need for candidates to login to appear for exam. The login details were used earlier when exam was used to be conducted in remote proctored mode.

If candidates are found to be violating the guidelines during the test or trying to practice unfair means, the data will be collected automatically and will automatically notify the live proctor under the following circumstances:
- Focus changed to another window: candidate is on other tab than test window.
- Candidate using older version of browser
- Webcam is disabled
- Candidate's face is not visible
- Faces other than of candidate Infront of the camera
- Face not matching the candidate's profile
- Microphone is on mute or volume is low and several background noises can be heard

No, there will be no negative marking in CSEET exam. For every correct answer candidates will be given one or two marks for each question.
