The eligibility requirements for BTech admissions through CUEE are as follows:
- Candidates must have completed their 12th standard from a recognised board.
- A minimum score of 50% in the 12th standard is required for general category students, while reserved category students must secure at least 45%.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must have been part of the candidate's curriculum in the 12th standard.

In order to be eligible to appear for the CUEE 2026 exam, candidates had to complete the payment process. Without that, the exam authorities will not release the candidate's admit card. The candidates must make the payment of the application fee in online mode through credit/debit card or net banking.
