With CUET-PG Score 71, there are less chances for you to get admission to Central University of Punjab, as the lowest score for CUET-PG is 81.
However, with this score you can easily get Central University of Kerala, Central University of Rajasthan, Central University of Jharkhand, Tripura University, University of Allahabad, and University of Jammu.
I hope it will help.

A modification in the CUET PG test design means that this year's CUET PG 2024 cut-off will be calculated from a total mark of 300. It used to be 400 marks earlier. The participating universities are conducting separate CUET PG 2024 counseling sessions on their official websites. In 2024, NTA won't be involved in the CUET PG counseling process. Candidates wishing to learn more about the CUET PG 2024 counseling rounds are asked to continue checking out the official websites of the participating universities. In 2024, master's degree programs will be admitted to 190 CUET PG participating universities (central, state, private, and others).

Hello Shina!
No, it will not affect your result, if you choose not to appear in the Zoology entrance exam. The result of CUET-PG is calculated based on the sections and subjects. So, if you do not attempt a subject test, you will not get any marks for that subject.
To summarize, you can select multiple subjects for CUET-PG, however, your final result will only depend on the sections and subjects you appear for.
I hope it will help.
