Cultural Anthropology is a good field of study if you are soemone who is intrigued by different cultures, societies, architechture and linguistics. For pursuing Cultural Anthropology, you can opt for a B.A. course in the same specialisation whereas if you primerly want to study Anthropology, you can even go for B.Sc Anthropology. The admissions to Anthropology courses are usually merit-based. As far as it being the right choice is concerned, then yes, it will be the right choice if that is what you want to have your career in anthropology.

It is a 2 year programme. Its fees is Rupees 4632. The eligibility criteria is 45% in graduation. Candidate must have completed graduation in Arts stream with Anthropology (Arts), Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology as subject with above mentioned marks from any recognized University/Institute.

For applying to Master in Anthropology, you need to have need to have completed their Master's degree in philosophy, some colleges accept may accept Masters degree graduates in any other discipline as well. If the necessary entrance tests have been cleared at the Masters level, the candidates may be credited for the same and can bypass it while pursuing their Ph.D. under the UGC.
