DY Patil College of Engineering eligibility varies course-wise. Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG programmes. Below is course-wise DYPCET eligibility criteria:

No, you cannot join without exam as the college requires you to appear for an entrance exam for admission to most of its courses, such as B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.Sc, etc. The entrance exams vary depending on the course and the level of study. For example, for B.Tech courses, you have to appear for GUJCET, which is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). For B.Arch courses, you have to appear for NATA, which is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA). For M.Tech courses, you have to appear for GATE, which is a national-level entrance
