Many government colleges offer B.Tech in Data Science.
Top ones include IITs, NITs, and IIIT Hyderabad via JEE checks.
State schools like GEC Thrissur (Kerala), GEC Sheohar and Arwal (Bihar), and GEC Kosgi (Telangana) additionally provide this route.
Admission is based on JEE or state entrance exams.
Seats are limited.

Yes, you qualify. As you've completed your 12th in history and general BBA, you satisfy the minimum requirements of having a Bachelor's degree. Assuming you had about 50 percent marks, most MBA programs in data science or business analytics do accept students from any stream. You will have to sit for an entrance exam, such as CAT, CMAT, or MAT. For many Colleges, you do not have to be math or computer proficient, but to enter a program they may prefer it. As long as you can run numbers and are open to learn the technical tools and skills, you're all set. You would also already have gained a basic background on business from your BBA.

While it's difficult to say definitively, your chances of getting a seat in SASTRA's B.Tech Data Science and Business Analytics programme with an 88% in boards and a 60% in JEE are not very high, but not impossible. SASTRA considers both 12th board scores and JEE Main scores for admissions, but JEE performance is a significant factor. With 88% in boards, you have a good chance of getting an A+ grade, but a 60% in JEE (which translates to roughly a low percentile) is a concern.

Yes, a 3-year Computer Science degree can be a strong foundation for applying to research programs in Data Science. While a master's degree is often preferred for such programs, your background in computer Science provides a solid base in programming, algorithms, and data structures, which are essential for data science. You can strengthen your application by acquiring additional skills in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis.
