Yes, it is not a problem for Indian students to apply for the MSc Data Science at the University of Manchester with a non CS background

However, if the student does not hold a CS degree, they will be required to apply for specific, specialised pathways and show a strong foundation in Quantitative and Computational subjects.

Manchester University offers pathways and the applicants should choose the right one. Some pathway examples are given below -

  • MSc in Data Science (Business and Management)
  • MSc Data Science (Computer Science Data Informatics)

In Kanyakumari, several colleges offer AI & Data Science, but some of the well-known ones include Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Ponjesly College of Engineering, and St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering. Among these, Rohini College is often preferred by many students for its AI & DS program, practical training, and placement support. However, the best college depends on comparing placements, faculty, and infrastructure before making a final choice.
