Notable maritime education institutions in India are Delhi Maritime Academy and IMU (Indian Maritime University) Navi Mumbai. However, IMU is in a better position because it is a more reputable and long-standing university. Delhi Maritime Academy is a privately managed institution, however IMU is a central university with locations throughout India.
IMU does better in placements than Delhi Maritime Academy. Graduates from IMU tend to secure higher average salary packages compared to their counterparts from Delhi Maritime Academy. Additionally, IMU's reputation draws a greater number of top-tier recruiters in comparison to Delhi Mar

- Maritime University is having change in number of seats offered year by year based on faculty, resources and other considerations.
- Number of Seats for B.Tech in Delhi maritime Academy has been 160 which was 120 earlier.
- The admissions are taken based on merit in IMUCET as well as the academy exams and interviews
- Based on merit list only they are going to conclude the candidates admissions.

Courses offered in Delhi Maritime Academy under B.Tech are : B.Tech in marine engineering, B.Tech in naval architecture, B.Tech in petroleum engineering.
- All the courses are for 4 years
- Fee structure will be differentiate year by year.
- With the previous information, we can say for the B.Tech course of 4 years around 2,25,000 rupees per annum
- For Marine engineering course male candidates and female candidates are having difference in the fees
- For girl candidates around 1,43,000 per year is the fee structure.
- For naval architecture same fee for all the candidates.

- Delhi Maritime Academy is offering B.Tech which is approved by the DG of shipping, Government of India.
- Eligibility for the B.Tech is 10+2 and with 45%.
- Entrance through the official college according or else through the IMUCET.
- Btech offers many courses like B.Tech in marine engineering, b tech in naval architecture, B.Tech in petroleum engineering etc.
- Many placements are offered by the top recruiters like v-ships, asp ship management, fleet management etc.
- Cutoff marks, admission details all can be shown on official website as well as the imucet official website. Therefore Delhi Maritime Academy is better than IMU.

For B.Tech admissions you have to appear for the IMUCET exam:
- Or else you can take admission directly by dropping an application in the official website
- After the application is shortlisted you will be called for the exam and followed by the personal interview
- Based on the merit, they will select students and then they inform the time started for the classwork.
- The +2 qualified candidates can apply who are having maths, physics, and chemistry background
- Candidate should have atleast 45% in the intermediate

- Delhi Maritime academy have better placements than the Navi Mumbai.
- The top recruiters visited Delhi maritime was Maersk line, .V-ships, asp ship management, fleet management Ltd., executive ship management pvt ltd.
- The recognition of maritime was dg of shipping, government of India.
- It is the best academy for marine engineering and consits of 8 courses.
- It also have centers at various locations like Mumbai, Pune, Pondicherry, Chennai, Cochin, Goa, Bengaluru etc.

- Maritime University's official website says that if an individual wants to join btech.
- Should be passed 12th grade with physics, chemistry and maths.
- And score should be 45%
- Then only the candidate can apply for the admission
- Based on merit they are going to shortlist
- Also from imucet yearly basis the cutoff marks are going to change.
- Based on the number of applicants and qualifiers the cutoff rank Is gonna differ.

- According to my research, I think there are no admissions can be taken with the JEE score.
- Because Maritime academy has their own entrances and the cutoff are decided.
- If you want to take admission in Maritime academy you have to write IMUCET.

- Delhi Maritime University offers admission for the B.Tech based on the IMUCET.
- Delhi Maritime University offers both merit and entrance based.
- For merit, the IMUCET exams should be written.
- And for entrance, University based exam and interview should be given.
- The cutoff marks and all, you can check either in University official website or IMUCET official website.
